Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime?

"Life shrinks and expands in proportion to one's courage."
Anais Nin

What skill, talent, or great secret are you keeping from the world, that if you had no fear...you would share and become the person you came here to be?

What have you long aspired to be, do or have, and how much longer are you prepared to wait for it? Your whole life? Is the fear really that powerful or indeed worth it? Or could you simply recognise it for what it truly is 'FEAR; Fake Expectation Appearing Real'.

"Do the thing you are afraid to do and the death of fear is certain."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

When you really think about it, it's obvious, you have two choices:

Option 1.) Feel the fear and let it perpetuate further inaction.
Option 2.) Feel the fear and do it anyway.

To put it more simply you might ask yourself this question:

Do I want to feel better, or do I want to feel worse?

Better would be loosing the white knuckles and getting on with the ride. Worse would be resisting growth or denying your needs. As Abraham (Hicks) so aptly puts it, ask yourself,

"Is that an upstream thought or a downstream thought?"

TIP #1: Upstream; problem-focused :-( Paddling hard against the current, getting wet, getting nowhere fast, lots of dangerous rocks with lots of bruises and bumps along the way. Could be fun, but...

TIP #2: Downstream; solution-focused :-) With the current...ahhh...feel the difference? Pop the cork, pass the canapes...mmm, lovely tune you're playing on that guitar...wow...is that a flock of Flamingo's over there? ehehehe...got it?

No prizes for guessing which one I'm choosing! (that's not to say that I haven't already earned my stripes as a heavy-weight professional upstream-as-fast-as-I-can-go kinda gal...ohhhh noooo...scars as well. I've been sooooo bloody good at this stuff!).

Now for those of you who love to go into battle with bulging muscles and scintillating intellect - it needs to be said that downstream is not necessarily a 'cop-out'. When something is easier it is no less 'right'. Struggle and strive are soooo last year darling! Come on! Get with the prograam dude.

More hurdles and scars at the end of the ride, doesn't make the ride any better. The path of least resistance bears dividends that you can't even begin to comprehend right now. More energy for one, less pain another, plus you get to wear that smug look on your face for at least a day! :-P

Seriously, there are really only two choices in life; one that feels better, and one that feels worse - and only you will know the answer. Does it really feel better to resist your magnificence?

So why not harness the fear in preparation for the ride of your life! A ride that sustains and supports you, now there's a novel concept! What can you jettison to lighten the load first? Any limiting beliefs per chance?

Oooookaaay, ARE YOU READY? GREAT! Now, let go of the reins and hold on to your hat...it starts when you say so, and goes wherever you want it to go...just let go and enjoy the ride...who knows where it may take you...woo-hooooooo!!!!

Here's a wee taste of what's to come...metaphorically for some of you ;-) quite literally for at least a few of you!! :-S ehehehe...
